In Japan, a pet fish, while playing a game on Nintendo Switch, changed it’s owner’s profile name and even ran up a charge on the owner’s credit card as published in an article here!

The owner, youtuber Mutekimaru, had installed motion detectors to track their pet fish’s movements to play Pokémon games allowing the fish to control the consoles remotely and play the games.

However, on 15th Jan 2023, the game crashed and the fish somehow ended up spending 500 Yen by topping up the the owner’s Nintendo account using the owner’s credit card and even ended up changing the owner’s profile name.

After all of this, Mutekimaru send a request to Nintendo asking for a refund! What a hilarious turn of events!
